Join an exciting open water swim from Hallands Väderö to Torekov, covering 3,200 meters through Sweden’s beautiful coastline. With safety teams on standby, prizes for top finishers, and post-race refreshments, this event promises an unforgettable experience in Torekov’s crystal waters.
Challenge yourself in an exhilarating open water race from Hallands Väderö to Torekov, where you’ll swim 3.2 km through crystal-clear waters along Sweden’s stunning coast. Perfect for experienced swimmers, this event combines natural beauty with thrilling competition, offering an adventure that brings together athletes from all around the region. With safety support throughout and scenic views at every stroke, it’s an ideal setting to put your skills to the test.
Participants will begin their day by collecting a start envelope with a race cap, timing chip, and other essentials. A boat from Torekov will transport swimmers to Hallands Väderö, departing half an hour before the race start at 10:00 am. As you swim, rescue teams in boats, kayaks, and on paddleboards are stationed along the course, ensuring everyone has support available. Crossing the finish line on Morgon Brygga, participants can refuel with snacks and await the awards ceremony, where the top three male and female swimmers will receive recognition and prizes.
The event offers amenities including free parking, washrooms, and medical assistance. Please note, all swimmers are required to wear their official race caps and can withdraw at any point by informing the staff.
Participants may pick up their start envelope from Saturday until Sunday at 9:00 am. Novice swimmers are encouraged to use “SaferSwimmers” for additional support. Six washrooms are available at Torekov harbour, and Olympiagaten offers free parking for those arriving by car.
